TALES OF BLACK HOLES
INTERNATIONAL DOCTORAL SUMMER SCHOOL ON ADVANCED BLACK HOLE PHYSICS
REGISTRATION
— FROM January 1, 2026 to March 31, 2026 —
To register in the school, starting on January 1 send an email with the subject “Tales of Black Holes 2026 – Registration” to talesofblackholes@iaa.es, together with the following documents:
• Cover letter indicating your current position, future research goals and interest in the school (PDF format, 1 page).
• CV (PDF format, no page limit).
All complete applications received by the deadline of March 31, 2026 are guaranteed to receive full consideration.
A maximum of 24 students will be selected on a competitive basis, and successful candidates will be notified shortly after the registration deadline.
Selected candidates will be requested to pay a registration fee of €200 within one week of being notified to confirm their registration and partially cover organization costs.
PRACTICAL INFORMATION AND SCHEDULE
Students will be hosted on a full board basis in shared accommodation (double rooms) in the picturesque Carmen de la Victoria. The Carmen de la Victoria is a university residence of the University of Granada, where lectures will also take place. All meals will be offered by the catering of the Carmen de la Victoria. Accommodation and meal costs are included in the registration fee.
The school will feature three courses with lectures delivered by three international experts, as well as hands-on projects totaling 30 hours. Aside from the lectures and hands-on projects, there will be time for students to present their work in talks of 10+5 minutes.
